SPECIALIST TREATMENTS

VERRUCA/WART TREATMENT

Verrucae or warts will be treated using a product/method which normally takes 2-4 treatments to rid you of the verruca/wart. Further treatment may be necessary depending on the length of time you have had the verruca/wart

FUNGAL NAILS

This condition is very common. With the use of certain products, a 4-6 week treatment plan and the co-operation/commitment of the patient it will improve. A sample nail clipping will be taken and will be grown under observation at which time it will be possible to identify the type of bacteria for destruction

DIABETIC FOOT SCREENING

This is very important to those suffering from diabetes melitas, generally a high risk diabetic will be seen regularly. Medium risk patients will be seen every 3-6 months and a low risk patient less frequently.

BIOMECHANICAL ASSESSMENT

This will entail a full examination of the lower limbs to indicate how each of these move in relation to each other and the rest of your body. A prescribed orthotic (shoe insert) can be made to correct any misalignment in the lower limbs. An exercise program will also be given to you

TOE NAIL RECONSTRUCTION

Toe nail damage can result from a number of means - trauma, fungal infection, poorly fitting footwear, even hereditary conditions and until recently, treatment of nail problems has been limited.  
Nail reconstruction is now available, enabling painless reconstructive nail correction for damaged nails - the result, natural and attractive toe nails!
